Collective exhibition inspired by nature. Both a symbol of life and an expression of the relationship between man and his environment, the connection between the inspiration of the ten artists presented and the world around us. It is nature deployed through the prism of the artists; their relationship to natural and living materials with woodcarving and ceramics, the interpretation of reality with landscape painting, the confrontation of man with his natural environment with photography.

Exhibited artists:

Aude Herlédan (1966, France), Eleanor Lakelin (1960, Wales), Andreea Zahiu (Romania), Alexandre Dallant (1969, France), Lars Zech (1971, Germany), Monika Debus (1961, Germany), Séverine Duparcq (1976, France), Sandra Zeenni (1968, France), Marion Tivital (1960, France), Yang Wang (1975, China)

The gallery

Located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, in the heart of the Carré Rive Gauche, Galerie 1831 is a meeting place for artists, art lovers and collectors. It is a singular gallery, run by Aude and Jean-Louis Herlédan, a couple of collectors (half-artists, half-collectors); Aude is above all a visual artist.

1831 Art Gallery organizes thematic exhibitions that present contemporary artists from all over the world.
Galerie 1831 is in contact with many foundations and museums, in partnership with an international network of galleries.
