The gallery
Located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, in the heart of the Carré Rive Gauche, 1831 Art Gallery is a meeting place for artists, collectors and art curators. It is a particular gallery, run by Chloé Chargé and founded in 2012 by Aude and Jean-Louis Herlédan, a couple of collectors (half-artists, half-collectors); Aude being above all an internationally recognized visual artist.
1831 Art Gallery organizes thematic exhibitions that present contemporary artists from all over the world. The Gallery is in relation with many foundations and museums, in partnership with an international network of galleries.
