On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Alina Szapocznikow (1926–1973), Loevenbruck gallery is celebrating her work across its two exhibition spaces, located at 6 and 12 rue Jacques Callot in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, by presenting a chronological journey through her creations from 1946 to 1972.
Through these fragments, Szapocznikow shares her intimacy and experience, blending personal history with universal resonance. The gallery
Founded by Hervé Loevenbruck in 2001, Loevenbruck gallery has established itself as a key player in contemporary art. Its program unfolds across two architecturally significant spaces, located at 6 and 12 rue Jacques-Callot in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
The gallery showcases contemporary works by the artists it supports, offering a distinctive perspective on the French and international art scene, in close collaboration with museums and institutions. For the past fifteen years, it has also contributed to the rediscovery of historical works, fostering a lively dialogue between contemporary creation and art history.
In parallel, Loevenbruck Editions, founded in 2002, regularly publishes artist books, monographs, and exhibition catalogues, which are available through its online bookstore and, for certain titles, in collaboration with Les Presses du réel.
