"American families"
Group show
The history of family photography has been marked by the rise of the reflex camera and 35mm film reel as common consumer objects. Four American photographers have used it as the matrix of their work, blending long-term documentary reportage, chronicles of everyday life, and bittersweet fables.
In a collective show titled ‘American Families,’ Peggy Levison Nolan, Shelby Lee Adams, Meryl Meisler & Marianna Rothen come together, from March 22nd to May 25th, showcasing their works on the gallery walls. We are delighted to welcome them as represented artists.
