The exhibition dedicated to Kishio Suga brings together two-dimensional works and installations, exploring the relationships between matter, space, and perception. A key figure of the Mono-ha movement, Suga has, since the late 1960s, developed a practice that moves beyond painting and sculpture, activating the intrinsic qualities of materials. Adapted to their site, the works create situations in which forms, voids, and organic elements coexist, inviting a reconsideration of our relationship to space and to things themselves.

Founded in São Paulo in 2010, Mendes Wood DM develops an international program grounded in conceptual practices, political engagement, and a dialogue between local contexts and global perspectives.
