Sand Eyes, Still Water is an invitation to dive into the colorful and vibrant universe of Noé Herbet, where each drawing expresses a sense of freedom and improvisation, carried by a surge of creative energy and a consciously embraced childlike spirit.

The artist draws inspiration from his personal mythology and sketchbooks, enriched by his travels to Spain, Morocco, and India. His works blend surreal and dreamlike figures, giving life to an imaginary and poetic world.

Color becomes matter, applied with fingers or spray, while soft shapes come alive with intense vitality, as seen in Flower Unicorn, a creature bursting forth from a spontaneous and vibrant gesture.

Solo show of Noé Herbet

The gallery

Founded by Dasha Antseva and in collaboration with Ella Tushinsky, Traits Libres Gallery is committed to emerging contemporary creation by supporting and producing the projects of the artists they represent or invite. Concerned with the curatorial and contextual dimensions of the projects presented, they work with curators and art critics to help build a critical framework. Indeed, they see the gallery space as both a commercial space and a place for artistic and cultural reflection.
Traits Libres Gallery focuses on multidisciplinary and experimental practices that address current societal issues.
