Clément Bagot produces exceptionally meticulous drawings in which the line becomes a detail, leading the eye to doubt the scales, hesitating between macrocosm and microcosm, seen from space, a fantasised territory with city maps or images of the infinitely small of the organic. This artist, strongly influenced by the codes of cartography, the graphic interplay of science fiction comic strips, scientific images of the microcosm and the line work of 18th-century engraving, offers configurations in which each image deploys strata of almost antinomic figurations with ruptures of scale and their ambiguous relationships with reality.

The gallery

For more than 15 years, our gallery has set itself apart by producing original ensembles with French and international artists. Over the years, we have worked with more than 40 artists of all generations.
Our collaborations are the fruit of an encounter with the artist. Each time, we seek to present works that take a special place in the artist's body of work, responding to a desire to present specific and original work.
Our new space in the2nd arrondissement of Paris is an opportunity to showcase our choices and favourites, as well as displaying singular, unique works.
