Galerie Lélia Mordoch
Franck Loret , France
"Danser avec les monstres"
From “kinetic leaks” to “volatile explosions,” Franck Loret constructs an expanding body of work with infinite variations. In addition to his street work under the pseudonym Frck-Strtrt, he continues his series of miniature cabins, havens for both being and thought, as well as the sculptures of organic geometry that characterize him. He is an obsessive virtuoso of cutting, whether it be cardboard, vinyl, or stickers—everything is material for creation. The liberated colors reveal the temperature of the emotions within him, contributing to the reliefs in a symbiosis of graphic traditions ranging from tattooing to mural frescoes, not forgetting the caricature embodied by Mr. Hern. He pastes small pieces on the walls of Paris to bring organic matter into the daylight. Emotion is a matter of organs; molecular geometry allows him to externalize his thoughts, which he draws to the rhythm of jazz, in order to dance with the monsters, to build a universe where the narrative is sculpted with a scalpel. By entering Franck Loret’s exhibition, one finds oneself at home, at the heart of the utopia he constructs to live in the world.

The gallery
Founded in 1989, the Lélia Mordoch gallery showcases the work of both recognized and emerging artists. It constantly innovates while remaining true to its aesthetic line: abstraction, kinetic art, and above all, poetry. From pixel to voxel, from wall sculpture to nano sculpture, including urban art, the Lélia Mordoch gallery offers the opportunity to discover the work of contemporary artists expressing themselves with both new technologies and classical mediums, as well as the masters of kinetic art.
