Aurelie Deplus has been in charge of artistic patronage and the Société Générale Collection since 2014. She works to open up the collection to new audiences, fostering unprecedented dialogues between the worlds of art and business, both in France and internationally. With a collection of nearly 1,800 works, she is committed to promoting contemporary art and supporting emerging and established artists. A graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Commerce in Finance and trained in Art History at Christie's Education (Cambridge University), she began her career in the Group's Corporate and Investment Banking division. Her expertise in finance and patronage enables her to explore new artistic territories and integrate innovative forms of creation into a forward-looking vision of the art market. Committed to promoting emerging artistic practices, she was one of the first employees selected to join the Acquisition Committee of the Société Générale Collection. She is a member of several circles of friends in cultural institutions and is President of the Rencontres Artistiques and the Prix Carré sur Seine for the 2025 edition.
