The gallery

Convinced of the essential role of galleries for artists, Laurent Godin founded his own gallery in 2005, with the trust and support of many artists as his only capital.

Open in the Marais, a few meters from the Centre Pompidou, the gallery opens a second location in the 13th arrondissement in October 2015 before moving there in September 2017. This 500m2 space, located outside the classic art gallery circuit, should be understood as an invitation to take time, to rethink our relationship to works and exhibitions.

The gallery now represents some twenty emerging and established artists, whose work has in common the fact that they participate in the discussion and evolution of contemporary art, with a particular focus on political and socio-cultural fields.
Galerie Laurent Godin also represents its artists at some of the most important contemporary art fairs in France and abroad.
