Artisyou Gallery is pleased to present its exhibition Expressions of Lyricism, from Bissière to Schneider, bringing together works from the 1950s and 1960s by the most influential artists of the post-war period in France. Through this exhibition, we wish to highlight the multiplicity of approaches to the abstract subject, from Hartung's intellectualization of gesture to Poliakoff's vibrant and spiritual research. Thus, we wish to highlight the richness, quality and creativity of this artistic period in France.

Exhibited artists:

Roger Bissière (1886 - 1964, France), Serge Charchoune (1888 - 1975, Russia), Hans Hartung (1904 - 1989, Germany), André Masson (1896 - 1987, France), Serge Poliakoff (1900 - 1969, Russia), Gérard Schneider (1896 - 1986, Switzerland)
